Due to reshoots and delays during the film production, VSF created over twenty identical "Charlotte" bouquets for Kristen to hold during wedding scenes.

Charlotte's bouquet

At one point during the production of Sex and the City, the catalaya orchids were to be held by bride "Carrie Bradshaw" with her attendants all carrying "neutral" white and cream bouquets. The orchids needed to be individually wired, this raised concern that when Sarah Jessica Parker smashed her bouquet over actor Chris Noth's head, he might have been have been cut by the wire. The "safer" white rose bouquet (minus all thorns) was created instead.

Miranda's black dahlia bouquet

After a fourteen hour day of working, a very tired and patient Cynthia Nixon posing with her dark purple dahlia bouquet. VSF used this picture as a reference in order to re-create an identical series of bouquets for the next days shoot. It was important that continuity with the flowers be maintained (this included hand-painting random white streaks using white out in order to capture the exact look of first bouquet).This picture was taken on the set of "Charlotte's and Harry's" Park Avenue apartment.
